Problem & role

Develop the mechanical design for a seven-person senior design team selected for NASA’s 2027 Human Exploration Rover Challenge. I serve as Mechanical Lead.

The team has been selected for the 2027 challenge.

Current contribution

I lead CAD, design reviews, and project deliverables; coordinate mechanical milestones with teammates and faculty; and support sponsorship and budget planning.

Planned work & validation

Upcoming milestones include the Fall 2026 preliminary design review. Prototype builds and testing remain planned work; detailed design decisions, test results, and competition outcomes will be documented as the project progresses.
